Interacting with advanced English students

Learning any new language is a very tough process that lasts forever. It doesn´t matter the level you achieve, you will always have to do something to keep it alive. If you rest on your laurels, you can lose what you achieved with so much effort.

First af all, let me introduce myself. My name is Alfredo. I´m 28 and live in Valencia. I began studying English when I was about six, both at school and in a private academy. When I was 17, I took the exam at the Official Language School and I passed it. Since then, I´ve been trying to keep in touch with the language by myself as much as possible. It´s very hard to learn things, but very easy to forget them... and I don´t want that to happen!!

Mónica´s blog is great! For those who want to start learning the language is really wonderful. And for those of us with already a higher level of English it also gives some very good pieces of advice on certain topics, but we could make it even more useful.

For example, I feel the necessity to practise written English. I´d love to meet people interested in exchanging e-mails from time to time (in English, of course.... haha). If you feel the same necessity and think it could be a good idea, let Mónica know. I guess she could create a section in her blog in which people could introduce themselves and give their e-mail addresses. Mine, for example, is alcamar78@hotmail.com.
